Marketing isn't as much fun as writing

I do have some readings and book signings set up in Columbus, Washington CH, and in Circleville, however, I need to set up more. I'm getting better at the marketing but I still find it much harder and less fun than I find the writing. I enjoy the writing a lot, it's like reading in reverse.

It has proven to be a lot of fun to meet people at the readings and to talk with them about their opinions and ideas for books to come. A lady at West Union told me about a local ghost who she thought should be included in a book that was set in West Union, for example.

I'd hoped to do some speaking at literary groups or to book clubs but haven't done much of that. I hope I can in the future though. I spoke to the Sunset Literary club in Columbus and joined it. Currently we are reading biographies of authors. I chose Ernest Hemingway because I was born on his birthday. We don't seem to have too much in common. We were both convince early that we should write however.
