It's St. Patrick's Day
So they say
and many play
find an excuse to stay
in the bars
watching parades,
playing cards
hearts and spades.
As for me, I've
work to do
things to write,
some cleaning too.
But it's an Irish cup
my coffee's in
I wear a silly Irish grin.
I'll sport my green
where I'll be seen
and wish everyone
some Irish fun!
