20 word loglines or "Elevator speech"

Working on being able to sum up my novels in 20 words or less. Even in one sentence without counting words it isn't easy. You should be able to meet someone in an elevator and sum up your book in one line. Yesterday I was working on Sins of the Mothers and came up with:

Rita Carter believes that her mental health problems stem from a past life in which she was her own gg grandmother.

That sentence doesn't show her belief that just as the Bible says "The sins of the Mothers/Fathers will be visited upon the children into the third and forth generation." She believes she is paying for what she did in the past. Got to go back to the drawing board on this one. However, I have time as this book is still being written.

Next i'll try to sum up each book in the Questing Hart series.
