Research redirects the Mind

Today I've been researching some new age beliefs for a novel I'm writing. It is enlightening to learn that many of these beliefs are not what I thought they were. Wiccan beliefs are not the same as Satanic for example. In fact wiccan's don't even believe in Satan. They believe in a God/Goddess but not a devil or satan. Many movies lead us to believe that satanism and witchcraft are the same. Although I'm not always happy to have to stop and do research, it is very informative.
