Free Lance writing

For those people who just want to see their work in print, there are several free lance writing jobs around. Most don't pay much of anything but your work is used and does pay a little this way. A site I know pays 5.00 for a short story for example. That is very little. However, this site doesn't insist on a polished product and in fact they accept material that hasn't even been edited. If you are a flash fiction writer who can take a prompt and write the gist of a story in five minutes it may be worthwhile. I've taught myself to write fast and can usually do this. Sometimes I do these little stories just as an exercise. Since I don't consider them polished work, I usually don't mind parting with them for 5.00.
