One of my writing groups is planning a box to go to soldiers in Iraq. Along with toiletries, cards and other items we are sending we are doing a packet of our writing and giving the soldiers an address to write to if they wish.
In the packet we are supposed to put two short stories or books for those of us who've written books. We're to put two poems as well and a short biography telling about ourselves. I think this is any interesting project.
It seems that I'm gathering things for more than one project this week. I'm going to a women in the outdoors meeting this Saturday. I'll be in a class where we'll be doing story sticks. Someone called to tell me that I should gather things that have meaning to me that can be added to the story stick. I'm working on that as well.
