Hopeful Hart the second book of the Questing Hart Trilogy should be available soon. The third book is also written and is now in the re-write stage.
In Hopeful Hart, Alicia Hart has completed her first quest which was to solve a family mystery and to write a book about her experiences. She understands that she will need to return to work as a therapist for financial reasons. At this opportune time, Thomas Camp offers her a deal she can't refuse. For the next six months he will pay her an amount equal to what she earned according to her tax returns the previous year.
She is to do genealogy research looking for mental health issues he may have inherited from his ancestors, determining where the problems originated, and what the nature of the problems were. This is to help his psychiatrist to get a better handle on what Thomas's diagnosis should be. Thomas also wants her to act as a life coach for him and to give him an honest opinion as to whether he is imagining it or if someone is really out to harm him.
Alicia agrees to work with him on these issues and this opens her to some unsettling events, putting her in danger. Meanwhile she continues to have disturbing dreams about her dead husband. Her relationship with Paul Riley, her childhood friend, goes through various ups and downs as Alicia struggles to open herself to hope and happiness in her life.
In the second novel the quest becomes one for answers that will help Thomas Camp to move forward, and for stability in Alicia's own life and relationships. She is hopeful that she will achieve a good outcome.
This novel is set in West Union,Ohio with side trips to Athens, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio and Hillsboro, Ohio
